■ Structure of Mono Cell Joint
☆ Products are composed of 1 Cell per 1 Set, and after setting up the Joint, screwing High Pressed Bolts and Nuts, and then Joint will be expanded and contracted freely within Allowable Flexibility. 2G Type makes 20mm of Movement (Allowable Flexibility), 4G Type does 40mm, 6G Type 60mm.

■ Notes on installation of Mono Cell Joint
1. After fabrication and installation of Joint, High Pressed Nuts should be removed before pouring concrete in order to prevent cracks when expansion.
2. In order to distribute the stress to the right & left side equally when expansion, the reinforcing bars keeping exact distance should be fabricated and welded.
3. When connecting Joints, female & male parts should be joined exactly, then it prevents the leaking water.
■ Special Features of Mono Cell Joint
1. Drivability
Driving surface is made of rubber so, it has good shock absorbing and good drivability due to narrowness between each top plate. Thus it is widely used for new and repair work.
2. Durability
It has Excellent Durability because it is made of especially compounded rubber (Neoprene).
3. Workability
Simple Structure makes it easy to install Joint, accordingly new and repair work are comparatively easy.
4. Absorption of Vibration & Noise
The Sound Absorption Material(Porous Epispastic) inside the body is very effective in absorbing noise and shock.(M/C #4G & 6G)
5. Junk stuffs Blocking
Both end of the Joint are male and female, so Joints are connected with connecting bolts when successive installation then it will block the junk stuffs and rainwater completely.
6. Waterproof
Waterproof Side Cap is used at the finishing part of the joint, so it prevents the rainwater or junk stuffs completely from entering through the edge of the body. Thus it has advantage of maintaining and repair work.
