1. Structural Durability
It is structurally durable because two-staged bolt typed anchor transmits the loads from passing vehicles on top plate to the supporting parts of bridge.
2. Excellent Drivability
Narrow top plate and the thick body sufficiently reinforced with rubber give the excellent driving conditions by decreasing the vehicles’ touching area as well as minimizing the driving impact.
3. Perfect Waterproof Function and Good Design
JK-NB Joints are manufactured as concave-convex shape in order to keep the perfect waterproof function, and the lateral reinforced plate is bent up to prevent concrete from getting crevice when pouring concrete.
4. Effective Absorption of Noise & Vibration
The Sound Absorption Material(Porous Epispastic) inside the body is very effective in absorbing noise and shock.
5. Durability

l Notes on Installation of JK-NB Joint l
1. When installing Joint, JK-NB Joint may sag in the middle part, so install it after levelling with supporting bracket or pressing right and left side anchor.
2. Main reinforcing bars should be set as low as possible in order not to interfere the two-staged anchor.
3. In order to distribute the stress to the right & left side due to the placing steel bars, the reinforcing bars keeping exact distance should be fabricated and welded.
4. The Sound Absorption Material may be filled up only inside the bent part of the Joint and back up material can be put under the bent part.
